I've always been a fan and supporter of the local police and am amazed at the amount of power one of these cards seems to give off. A "get out of jail" card, A "thank you officer, I'll never do it again" card. A gift from a officer to you that "you know someone", and if you are polite and friendly to the officer pulling you over, you might have a chance at maintaining your insurance bill this time.
